Guide to Proper Packaging Disposal
To ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote responsible packaging management, we invite you to follow these instructions for the correct disposal of materials used in our shipments. This guide is in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 116 of 2020 and Ministerial Decree 360/2022, which implements European directives and introduces the obligation to label packaging with environmental information starting from January 1, 2023.
WOOD OR CARDBOARD BOX
- Wood: Dispose of at dedicated wood collection centers or follow local municipal guidelines for separate collection.
- Cardboard: Place in the recycling container for paper and cardboard, ensuring it is clean and dry.
METAL STRAPPING AND NAILS
- Metal: Collect separately and dispose of at metal collection centers or in the designated container where available.
PLASTIC FILM
- Plastic: Place in the recycling container for plastic, following local disposal guidelines.
REGULATORY REFERENCES
In compliance with Legislative Decree No. 116/2020 and European regulations, packaging must include clear instructions for proper disposal. This measure, effective from January 1, 2023, aims to improve waste sorting and reduce environmental impact through effective recycling of materials.
